A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Trade Store Assistant to join a reputable business, based in Weybridge.
The key purpose of a Trade Store Assistant:
This role is primarily responsible to serve customers in the store, as well as general housekeeping such as checking goods in, stocking up, and cleaning in the store and warehouse.
Knowledge/ Skills Required for a Customer Service Assistant:
Any experience working in the Construction Industry would be an advantage but this is not essential as training will be provided
Excellent customer service skills
Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Good interpersonal teamwork, collaboration skills, and Safe Handling Awareness.
IT Literate
Previous face-to-face customer service experience/ strong communication skills.
Main Role/ Responsibilities for a Trade Store Assistant:
Serving customers at the Trade Counter
Picking goods for customers collecting
Ensuring a well-stocked and tidy Trade Counter
Housekeeping of the Trade Store/Warehouse
Always Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures, supporting the Trade Store Manager with the H&S commitments to the Company.
Assisting the trade store manager with stock takes
Checking off deliveries/stock transfers and putting them into stock
Completing relevant paperwork to ensure accurate stock control
