This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join a well-established telecommunications company based in Milton Keynes.

Key skills required for a Product Marketing Manager -
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role (product development and marketing)
Proven knowledge of the Managed IT Service market, ideally in the network services
At least two years’ experience in managing complex bids
Proven experience in developing clear, compelling propositions and working collaboratively to take them to market
Excellent presentation skills, and outstanding spoken and written communication skills
Ability to comprehend & appreciate technical aspects of communications and networking
Ability to work at all levels, from board-level to engineer-level, with proven influencing skills
Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) or Chartered Marketer.
Key responsibilities for a Product Development & Marketing Manager -
Define, develop and implement the technical strategic direction of the business in the nominated region to ensure the company achieves its financial targets and business objectives.
Create and develop the company value propositions across the region, based on market analysis, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Work with the sales and business development functions to establish, understand and capture client requirements and translate these requirements into solutions which the sales teams can then sell in the market.
Analyse competitors, assess market opportunities and develop our market positioning.
Work with product management to support the definition, development and implementation of the technical strategic direction of the business in the region.
Work with new and existing customers to identify current and future needs, scope market opportunities and ensure that product and service lines meet both the current and future requirements.
Evaluate current products and services against customers’ needs and forecast future requirements.
Reposition existing products and services, and position new products and services which will differentiate the Company in a highly competitive environment.
Work with marketing to develop and launch sales and go-to-market campaign messaging.
Be accountable for managing responses to requests for proposal (RFPs) including bid strategy and content development to ensure high quality, professional responses are submitted.
Provide significant input to product and service line definition and development of the technology roadmap.
Evangelise and present at internal and external events.
Educate and train internal resources and functions on company propositions.
