Working Hours - Monday Friday - Week 1 (07:00 - 15:00), and Week 2 is (09:00 - 17:00)
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance technician to join a well-established company based in Andover, Hampshire.
Key Purpose of the Maintenance Technician role;
The key purpose of the Maintenance Technician role is to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, analysis of machine failures, execute the procedures of the department, and promote continuous improvements.
Key skills required for a Maintenance Technician;
Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician role or similar
Experience working directly on maintenance projects from machine repair to building maintenance.
Machine & general maintenance experience.
Any knowledge of Mechanics, electricity, electronics, would be useful.
MS office skills
Maintenance experience within the logistics industry preferred (but not essential).
Health & Safety experience preferred (but not essential).
Key responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician;
Notify the Manager of defective equipment.
Follow up on planned and emergency requests to maintenance.
Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement ideas.
Provide technical assistance according to plant needs.
Execute planned corrective planning.
Carry out the transfer of machinery to other facilities.
Review the operation of the new facilities, according to needs
Performance of records of anomalies or parts of work proposed by the maintenance supervisor.
Unsubscribe the parts from the workshop.
Ability to develop procedures focused on maintenance.
Ability to modify Check-list.
Perform preventative activities according to the planning of the department supervisor and production planning.
