A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a forward-thinking business, based in Bristol.
Due to growth, they are now seeking a friendly and upbeat IT Analyst to join their rapidly growing IT support team. You will join an ambitious and growing team of 15 where your role will be a significant contribution to their future success.
The company continues to promote staff from within as well as investing in their personal development, which is one the reasons they stand out from other companies. You will join their team as 1st/2nd line support engineer and will primarily work in the Incident Response Team.
Key Skills for an IT Support Engineer;
IT Service Desk experience or similar
1-3 years experience supporting users
Excellent communication
Typing speed of >60 WPM with excellent spelling and grammar
The ability to translate IT to English
Drive to deliver a Human customer experience
A hard-working individual who loves being part of a team and learning new skills
Pride in delivering excellent service to clients
A desire to continually improve
Key responsibilities for an IT Support Engineer;
Answer incoming calls from clients
Assist with triaging of incidents logging all information in our Service Desk system
Provide frontline analysis via phone, email or remote support
Provide updates and escalation notes to Senior analysts
Complete backup checks and resolve proactive alerts
Desired Qualities for an IT Support Engineer;
Experience working in an MSP environment
Evidence of an interest in higher learning, for example courses or certifications in:
Microsoft MTA or MCP
Comptia A+. N+ or S+
IT-related undergraduate degree

Microsoft Windows 10 & some Mac OSX
Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 Standard
Hyper-V
Microsoft Office 365 (including Intune, Exchange online and Azure AD), Microsoft SQL Server, Altaro Hyper-V Backup, Sage Accounts, Exclaimer
DHCP, DNS, Draytek, Netgear
Domain names, SSLs, DNS + nameservers
Microsoft Teams Calling, hosted VOIP, FTTC + Ethernet connectivity support
